Villa Desciption: Villa Tuzlabeli is a spacious detached 5 bed roomed villa with its own pool, in an area of outstanding natural beauty 18kms away from the harbour town of Fethiye. It sits on a hillside, with mountains around it and views over the plain to the mountains beyond.
Accommodation Information: On entering the villa you get a feeling of space. On the first floor there is an open plan lounge leading out onto the pool terrace, Separate dining room, fully equipped kitchen, family bathroom which has a separate bath and shower cubical, and a double bedroom. Upstairs you will find another seating area, 1 en-suite bedroom, 1 family bedroom that has a double bed and sofa bed in it, 2 twin bedded rooms and the family shower room.4 of the bedrooms have balconies with lovely views, as does the additional seating area. There is also a small self-contained annex that sleeps 2 in single beds + 1 on sofa bed beneath the house, which may be made available if required at an extra cost.(please note that the annex would not be occupied by anyone else whilst you are renting the villa as it is not available to rent separately). It is perfect for large families or groups.
Amenities/Facilities Provided: Air-conditioning, central heating, open fire, Hair driers large fridge/freezer, electric oven gas/electric hob, Washing machine dishwasher, Kettle, toaster microwave, high chair, Travel cot that has a bassinette for young babies and a changing station. It conforms to the BSI standards, Iron and ironing board. TV, DVD/CD player, a selection of CDs, DVDs, books and board games, Sun loungers, umbrellas, pool towels and Bath towels, bed linen, cool bag and an all terrain 3 wheeler pushchair. Steps lead down to the BBQ area, gardens and lower patio from which access into the annex is.

Coast/Beach: If you prefer more choice then coastal resorts of Fethiye and Calis are just twenty minutes drive away. In Fethiye you will find bustling shops, a harbour (from here you can get local boat trips as well as the hydro foil to the Greek island of Rhodes), a museum, and the large Tuesday market. Calis is the nearest beach to Uzumlu. It is a quiet yet busy holiday resort, with a seemingly endless beach; the shoreline is 6km long and is a significant nesting place for turtles. A good selection of bars and restaurants line the promenade. Water taxis run regularly between Calis and Fethiye Harbour. Oludeniz with its famous lagoon is approx another 15 minutes away Slightly further away are the ancient ruins and unspoilt 20km beach of Patara and also Salikent Gorge famous for Rafting. We are happy to book on your behalf any boat/ sight seeing or adventure activities that any of your party might like to do or take part in with a reliable tour company.
Out & About: Just a short walk from the villa is the traditional village of Uzumlu where you can buy local produce. There is also a post office, restaurants, wine bar, and a local market on Fridays. The village of Uzumlu is one of spectacular natural beauty, set in a valley surrounded by dense pine forests rugged hillsides and fields of cotton, sesame, aniseed, wheat, barley and a variety of vegetables as well as apples, grapes, almonds, pears, figs and olives . At the start of the season the poppies and other wild flowers fill the meadows with an abundance of colour. It is 500m above sea level which means the cooling mountain breezes are perfect for when the local temperatures soar in the summer months. The area is steeped in history and is ideal as a base to explore the countryside including the hilltop Roman city of Cadianda approx 20mins away.

Accessibility Information: The villa sits in its own enclosed garden and has off street parking. There are a small number of steps up to the villa entrance and a small number down to the basement annex.
Travel & Distances: The international airport of Dalaman is approx 45 mins away. We recommend you hire a car, but you can catch the dolmus (the local public transport) from the village into Fethiye which is fairly cheap and regular. From Fethiye you can get a dolmus to almost anywhere in the region or use the water taxi to Calis We are happy to book on your behalf airport Transfers and/or car hire with a reliable company.
