Villa Desciption: LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION - This spacious and tastefully furnished apartment occupies the whole of the first floor of the block of just 3 apartments and is situated in a peaceful area yet still in the heart of Kalkan, and a GENUINE 2 minute walk to shops, supermarkets, bank and restaurants. Another 2-3 minutes and you will have reached Kalkan\\\'s pretty harbour and beach. Why not relax on your very own huge terrace (approx. 60sq m) where you can wile away the hours sunbathing on one of the loungers, barbecue, dine or simply enjoy the view over Kalkan Bay and the spectacular Taurus mountains backdrop. Coast/Beach: Originally a Greek fishing vilage Kalkan is now a pretty tourist town nestling at the foot of the Taurus Mountains with the most spectacular scenery imaginable. Narrow streets wind down to the pretty harbour past whitewashed villas with cascading bougainvillea. Famed for its good food Kalkan boasts an abundance of roof terrace restaurants with views across Kalkan Bay. The pebble beach is extremely pretty with sunbeds, parasols and pedalos for hire. Alternatively just 20 minutes away by local dolmus (minibus) you will find 17km of beautiful soft golden sand that is Patara beach, a protected area where turtles return to lay their eggs. Don\\\'t miss the historic sites at Xanthos, Pinara, Patara as well as the sunken city of Kekova and the gorge at Saklikent. This area has something for everyone - shopping, sunbathing, boating, water sports, historical sites or just relaxing. Plus- good food, good weather, friendly people, spectacular scenery - what more could one want.
