Villa Desciption: KayaGarden has been built in 2004 in traditional Turkish style, completely in harmony with the environment, on a piece of land of 1500 m2 in the valley of Kayakoy. The garden and the view to the surrounding hills and historical object of interest are beautiful. The location is quite and still close to facilities like restaurants, dolmus, and supermarket (250-300 m). Our guests can also use the facilities of Gunays Garden next door (support by hostess, small restaurant in rustic setting). Historical interesting objects are within 150 m. and footpaths starts before the front-door. A wide choice of facilities and opportunities for amusement are available in Hisaronu (5 km), Fethye (8 km) and Oludeniz (9 km).
Accommodation Information: The house consists of a living-room with sitting-corner and satellite-television, fireplace, dining area, modern open kitchen with gas-cooker, big refrigerator with freezer, furnace, dishwasher and washing-machine. The bathroom has a shower, second toilet, washing-stand and bathroom-furniture. Towels are available. Although there is in the summer a very nice cool breeze, the house is provided with air-conditioning in the living-room and sleeping-rooms. In wintertime an electric heater is provided. The very big terrace has a sitting-corner. The hall is spacious and has a store-furniture. The whole house is on the same floor and provided with tiles and carpets. The area of the house is 130 m. The very spacious garden has a private swimming-pool, several sitting area’s, camellia , a terrace with sun-beds and parasols. In the garden there are also various fruit-trees. There are two spacious sleeping-rooms, a separate toilet and bathroom. Sleeping-room 1 has a double bed, a big wardrobe and chest of drawers. Also there is a child-cot for a child of the age of 1 till 5 years old. Sleeping-room 2 has two single beds and a chest of drawers.

Coast/Beach: The closest beach is just across the hill to Cold Water Bay (40 minutes walk). Other beaches can be reached by car of dolmus: Gemiler Beach (6 km.; 10 minutes drive) and the famous beach of Oludeniz (9 km.; 15 minutes drive)
Out & About: A wide choice of facilities and opportunities for amusement are available in Hisarönu (5 km.; 7 minutes drive) and the harbour-city Fethiye (8 km.; 20 minutes drive). Kayaköy is from origin an old Greek village. This village was built on the ruins of the antique Lycian city Karmylassos (11th century). Until 1922 there lived people from different cultures in friendship and peace together. Because of an exchange-program between Turkey en Greece in 1922 the inhabitants did leave the village and so it became of great historical importance. The government has declared this area recently as protected historical and cultural heritage. The nature of the Lycian coast is overwhelming and diversified. For everyone plenty of possibilities. From Fethiye the boat-cruises leave daily for the twelve-islands tour. Saklikent is a huge cleft, where even in summer the water is bursting out of the mountains. You can walk into the cleft through the water. Dalyan is famous for its Turtle beach. You can be brought by it by boot; a really beautiful trip through the delta. In Calis you can enjoy a beautiful sunset. From Oludeniz you can take a boat-trip to the Butterfly-valley. In Oludeniz you can also find the very famous and protected area of the Blue Lagoon. This is the place this well-known movie has been taken. Walking: Kayaköy is a very suitable for walks. You can make beautiful walks to Afkula Monastry (6 km, eventually partial by bus), Gemiler Beach (6 km), Oludeniz (7 km) or Cold WaterBay (3 km), Fethye by the old Roman way (7 km). You can also make a start with the very famous and old Lycian way who starts in Ovacik (7 km) and ends in Antalya (200 km). For the climbers is the Baba Dag (Father mountain) a real challenge (2000 m.). The walking-way starts in Oludeniz. Swimming: you can make use of our private-swimming-pool. Do you prefer the sea? That is possible in Cold Waterbay, Gemiler Beach and the beach of Oludeniz. Other sports like mountain-biking, horse-riding, paragliding (duo-jump), diving and sailing can be booked in several offices in Hisaronu, Fethye and Oludeniz. Market: On Sunday there is a market in Göcek (with the dolmus to Fethye and then by boat to Göcek) and Calis, on Monday in Hisarönu, on Tuesday and Saterday in Fethye. Hamam: There is traditional Turkish bathhouse situated in the very old mosque in Fethye. Further there a possibilities for Turkish bath, sauna and massage in several hotels. Kervanseray: In Kayaköy there will be organised a traditional Turkish dance evening in the high season. History On historical issue the area of Kayaköy offers you a lot of possiblities. 150 m from Kayagarden you find the ruins of the old Kayaköy.

Accessibility Information: The entrances to the villa has a few stair-steps (4). The sleeping-room is on the same floor as the living-room etc.
Travel & Distances: The villa is close to facilities like restaurants, dolmus and supermarket (250-300 m.) The transfer from Dalaman to Kaykoy is a one hour drive. We can arrange the transfer for you. You can also take a flight to Antalya. The transfer-time from Antalya to Kayakoy will be 2,5 - 3 hours.
